No. 11 Squadron.
This squadron was established as an Operational Conversion Unit.  During the conflict it played a significant role by training pilots specifically for the operations against Afghan intruders.  At the same time it took part in active combat as well, along with No. 9 and No. 14 Squadrons.   This unit flew a total of 346 sorties of CAP, majority of them taking place during the early part of 1986.  Though details of the location are not known, but it is wise to say that it was based at PAF Sargodha.
